Of course there are always new trends!! And they are multiple. Lately we have been concentrating on delivering stable treatment within shorter period of time while further harmonizing usage of implants with esthetics and functions. This is where management and regeneration of any sustained pre-existing damage becomes the most crucial component. And it seems that future here belongs to biotechnology as it holds the key to tissue bioengineering. Today we are already using various natural growth factors or “tissue stimulators” to obtain most ideal treatment results. Nanotechnology is also rapidly finding its way into the field of implant and regenerative dentistry. The new research is being done on a vast scale and new technologies are becoming available for clinicians every day, and just to tell you more about it we may need to dedicate more time.
